The former location of Modell’s on Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Flushing has been sold. The listing broker, Highcap Group reported it has been sold for $67 million dollars. The long time Modell’s closed after bankruptcy has been replaced with local retail stores temporarily. The lot size record price at gulps $2,400 per square feet making it one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Queens. Modell’s continues to sell items online while closing all of their 153 stores. The listing broker didn’t disclose who the new buyer is so it’s wait and watch.
