Here she comes forth

The next governor of NY replacing Andrew, Kathy Hochul will run for the election to keep the position if she wins. Her quote, "I am prepared" is getting ready with the campaign team in place. The election is next year and after finishing Cuomo's term, she will run for the governorship. She believes she will win as she is closing to add Lieutenant Governor position from someone in NYC. That announcement will be made next week.
