Hempstead man shot dead has been identified

Police identified the man shot dead in Hempstead on December 25th around 6:30pm as Raphael Cepeda, 35. His girlfriend reported to police that Cepeda was heading to pick up their daughter when the incident happened. So far there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
