Hempstead man arrested and charged with attempted murder

Police reported the arrest of Tylil McTootle, 28 of Hempstead and charged with attempted murder. The incident happened on February 8 around 4:30pm in Massapequa at the intersection of Gloucester Road ad Fairfax Road. Police reported it was a drug deal involving another male, 27 when the purchase was not completed. McTootle took off before making the payment. When the other person tried to stop, he was shot multiple times. The person who was shot remains in the hospital.
