Hempstead fire reported multiple injuries

Firefighters reported fire at 135 Clinton Street in Hempstead, Nassau County. This is an apartment building and the fire broke out around 3:30am. The fire started in the second floor. Multiple people were taken to local hospitals with injuries. The cause of fire is under investigation.
