Helicopters and drones coming to Nassau beaches

Don the Clavin, Hempstead Town Supervisor whose only job is shark patrol sector, has announced helicopters, drones and more lifeguards with advanced binoculars for shark patrol in Nassau County starting today for the holiday weekend.

This came after a 57 year old male was crying for help from the possibility of being bitten by a shark by the Jones Beach.

EMS has not released any statement on his condition.

However, the NYS officials confirmed there was no shark sighting.

So if you see any choppers or drones, they are looking for sharks under shark patrol program. Enjoy the holidays.
