Heavy police activity in the Nassau County

Around 11am, police reported a hit and run in Syosset. This is on Underhill Blvd in Nassau County.

From a witness, the vehicle description was given and police tracked the vehicle where its abandoned.

Further investigation confirmed the vehicle was stolen.

Police also found ammunition inside the stolen vehicle. ESU recovered shell casings and the victim suffered a grazed wound.

EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.

ESU is working on evidence search.

So far no arrests.
