Heavy police activity in New Cassel

Police are in New Cassel after a woman was raped this afternoon.

The incident occurred on Pearl Street around Westbury vicinity in Nassau County.

EMS transported the female victim to a local hospital.

The search for suspect, male, Hispanic continues.

Reported the victim was pregnant and was dragged into the greenery area where the incident occurred.

Ongoing investigation.
