Heavy police activity in Hempstead

Police closed off multiple areas in Hempstead after suspects fired bullets at police. No police officers were injured.

Ormond Street, Lincoln Blvd and the vicinity is closed.

Multiple suspects in custody. More suspects are on the hunt.

Chopper and K-9 have also joined the investigation.

Nassau County police officers from other precincts are also working on the scene.

Ongoing investigation.

Few days earlier the NY Governor signed more gun control bills but so far no effects.
