Heavy fire resulting multiple injuries in College Point

FDNY reported heavy fire at a commercial residential location in College Point. This is by 119th Street at the unit 20-24. The fire started in the basement and extended through the building with collapsed walls.

EMS reported multiple injuries.

The fire started around 5:45 and still raging around.

Smoke is everywhere including Whitestone vicinity.

Local residents are advised to close windows in the area.

Firefighters are working on the scene.
