Heavy fire reported at a home in Woodhaven

The FDNY reported a 2nd alarm at a home in Woodhaven. The incident was reported this morning around 8:30am on 91st Avenue near 86th Street.

EMS transported five injured from the location to hospitals.

By 9:30am, the fire was brought under control.

The fire marshal is working on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

Ongoing investigation.
