Heavy fire at a home in the Valley Stream

Firefighters reported second alarm at a home in Valley Stream. This is on Prescott Place near Prescott Court in Nassau County.

The fire started around 3:15pm this afternoon and was brought under control by 4:30pm.

EMS reported injuries and transported those to local hospitals.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
