Hands down it s Honda not Toyota

NYPD stated the number one vehicle stolen the most in NYC is Honda CRV SUVs. The years are from 2019 to 2022. The runner up is Toyota Sienna and Highlander tied.

Local police precincts are advising Honda owners to contact their dealers for HondaLink or other GPS tracking service to easily locate them if stolen.

As for Toyota, carjacking continues to increase in NYC due to its demand after transporting them illegally out of the country by traffickers.

Grandpa's pickup Chevy or Ford trucks are safe. Better yet, old time station wagons with carburetors may make a new demand in NYC.
