Haha and hehe but hoho was no show

The Governor and Mayor held a press statement today in downtown Fulton Street station stating transit crime is down by 16% from October 2022 to January 2023. The MTA Chairman was also present. Absent was the NYPD Commissioner who still blames the Governor, Assembly and Senate Majority Leader for the spike in youth violence in the city despite no change to criminal justice reforms.

MTA cops redeployed and NYPD on overtime were the two factors.

The Cops, Cameras, Care program since Fall showed the results despite protests from most of the elected officials demanding the removal of police from subways.

The congestion pricing and ride share app moving to electric vehicles are on track so more people will use public transit including LIRR. Both will be revenue makers for the city and state the Governor memoed the Mayor as a reminder to focus due to large contributions mainly from rideshare app companies. This press statement came after the Mayor announced the Governor on the change of the bail reform during yesterday’s State of the City speech. Now it’s all forgotten or faded slowly.
