HOJO does shelters homeless in Queens Village

As usual, dump it all on northeast Queens. Residents and neighbors of Howard Johnson motel at 220-16 Jamaica Avenue reported of homeless people living in the location. The NYC Dept of Homeless are not required to notify or disclose of homeless placing in shelters around NYC. According to police report, the location has been called now and then reporting of weapon possession, assault and robberies. Some of the arrests took place and cases are pending. What's even more interesting is that the motel is across the Community Board 13 office where elected officials are frequently attending meetings with the staff that work with Queensboro President Melinda Katz.
