Gun bust in Astoria leads to multiple arrests

Police arrested 4 people including one from Virginia after smuggling firearms during a sale to an undercover police officers in Astoria. A total of 23 firearms were confiscated during the arrest. This is was a 10 month investigation which started in September 2019 in cooperation with Queens DA's office and NYPD after undercover cop brought a gun from one of the arrested. Then sting were setup with 13 different purchases around Astoria leading to main supplier's arrest announced today.
