Grand larceny in Syosset

Second Squad Detectives are investigating a Grand Larceny that occurred on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 12:59 pm in Syosset.

According to detectives, the male victim, 40, was notified about a package delivery at his Syosset residence.  When the victim returned home the package was missing.  The victim observed an unknown male removed a package from the front porch on his security camera and called 911.

The subject is described as a male black, 5’10” tall and approximately 230 lbs.  He was wearing an Amazon vest, a red hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, white sneakers and a gray baseball hat.

Detective request anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.  All callers will remain anonymous.
