Grand larceny arrest in Oceanside

The Fourth Squad reports a Grand Larceny that occurred on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:55 AM in Oceanside.

According to Detectives, a 44-year-old male victim withdrew $20,000 US Currency from a TD Bank located at 247 Long Beach Road and went back to his vehicle in the parking lot, where he placed the money inside. As the victim was backing up his vehicle to leave, one of the rear tires deflated. The victim and his passenger got out of the vehicle and replaced the flat tire. Once they got back into the vehicle, they noticed the $20,000 USC and an additional $35,000 USC that was also located inside had been removed by an unknown subject. No description of the subject available at this time. Investigation is ongoing
