Governor Cuomo wants the public to decide design for the new vehicle driver license plates

Starting August 21 at 9am, New Yorkers can vote for the best design for new vehicle license plates. The new plates will replace the current one starting April 1. The cost is $25 and another $20 to keep the current plates. The voting will close on September 2 at midnight.
