Glen Oaks resident arrested for sex assault

Police were called to an apartment in Glen Oaks Village Co-op reporting sex assault. It happened on August 1 around 2pm on 74th Avenue near 260th Street. The victim reported to NYPD SVU the incident has been going for while and was afraid until a neighbor was notified who then alerted police. Further details were not provided. The suspect is charged with sex crimes and order of protection issued against the victim.
