Glen Oaks resident arrested for robbery in Hicksville

Nassau County police reported of Zakariya Peerzada, 21 of Glen Oaks is in custody on Monday, July 24. Peerzada was the suspect accused of accomplice to the robbery that occurred at Hicksville gas station, Mobil at 285 North Broadway on June 26 around 12:30am. Police are continuing with the search for the second suspect who has not been named. Peerzada has been charged with second degree robbery and bail is set at $100,000 bond or $50,000 cash.
