Garden City woman arrested for DWI while a victim was struck by vehicle

Police arrested Tara Guinnane, 47 of Garden City and charged with DWI, assault, driving a vehicle without registration and stricking a victim with the vehicle. Further investigation reported the 50 year old male victim was a neighbor. Both Guinnnane and the victim lived on the same block. The incident happened on Monday, February 12 around 6pm on Wilson Street. The victim was heading home by walking from LIRR station. The victim has been taken to a local hospital with injuries.
