Garden City Sears to close

The location at 1111 Franklin Ave, Garden City will close within two weeks after Sears filed for bankruptcy. As part of the announcement, Sears is closing more stores along with Kmart. As of now, there are around 700 stores remaining with 68,000 employees. The current 700 stores will continue to operate as usual for the holidays.
