From Archer Avenue to Rufus King Park in Jamaica reporting a shooting

Around 3:30pm this afternoon, the NYPD reported a male shot in Jamaica. The incident started as a dispute on Archer Avenue near Jamaica Avenue. Then one of them fired rounds from the gun where people went for cover. The suspect then took off toward Rufus King Park. EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

ESU recovered shell casing and the gun.

Police described the suspect as male, black now on the search.
