Friday evening to early Monday morning crime update

As of Friday evening to early Monday morning, 34 victims were robbed, assaulted, mugged and harassed in Queens.

The NYPD reported crime went down drastically compared to the average of over 100 victims before.

However, subway crime continues to be volatile.

The new crime is online scams and the Mayor's Office is reviewing a plan to combat by expanding the operation.

On March 21, started on College Point Blvd near Roosevelt Avenue with a dispute turned into stabbing. Long Island City continues to report assaults.

Meanwhile, moped robberies continue to spike on main roads targeting victims while walking or waiting for public transportation.

Horace Harding Expressway according to NYPD reported robbery incidents including strong arm and armed robberies with knives.

Springfield Blvd between Hillside and Jamaica Avenue reported assaults.

The NYPD released surveillance pictures of two suspects wanted for robbing an employee inside a store on Jamaica Avenue in Richmond Hill on March 19 around 8pm. The suspects locked the worker in a bathroom and removed items. Then took off on foot.
