Freeport man busted for assaulting a police officer in Franklin Square after multiple car crash

Police arrested Victor Natal, 40 of Freeport and charged with slew of crimes from assaulting a police officer to reckless driving. The incident happened on Saturday, January 6 around 5:30pm in Franklin Square. Nassau County police saw two men arguing on Hempstead Turnpike and approached. When one of the officer told Natal to exit the vehicle, he refused and fled the scene. The incident caused the officer to drag few feets when the jacket was struck to the door. From there, police reported Natal struck three vehicles and took off on foot. He was arrested shorly behind a home on Monroe Street. The officer suffered minor injuries. pic by NCPD.
