Four nursing homes under investigation by the NY Attorney General

The NYS Attorney General's Office issued a press statement of investigation of 4 nursing homes for allegedly misappropriation of $83 million taxpayers funds.

They are Holliswood Center in Queens, Beth Abraham Center in the Bronx, Martine Center in Westchester and Buffalo Center in Erie County. All are operated by Centers Health.

When the pandemic began, the AG alleged that staff didn't have sufficient PPE, sick residents were not quarantined and desperate pleas for more staff and to stop admitting new residents were denied.

The lawsuit filed demands to install monitors to oversee resident care, facility operations, and finances, stop new residents from being admitted until conditions improve and recover the millions they took.
