Former diner is now open as Orient Garden in Garden City Park

The former location of Park Diner at 101 Herricks Road in Garden City Park opens today as Orient Garden. The new eatery serves Cantonese food mainly serving Asian cuisine.

The same owner of Orient Odyssey restaurant in Jericho operates this place which was bought for $2.1 million.

The former diner was built in 1980 which was operated as Sparta Family Diner for 30 years until leased to new operators in 2008 named as Park City Diner. Then the diner was closed in 2020 until the new owners brought it.
