Forcible entry burglaries on the rise in Queens

Police released surveillance pictures of a suspect wanted for forcibly gaining entry at a home in Cambria Heights. The incident was reported on June 2 around 11:45am in the vicinity of 119th Avenue and 227th Street. The suspect pretended to be with a mail package alerting the homeowner which was captured on the video released by police.

Police released another surveillance picture of suspects wanted for burglary in Bayside. The incident was reported on May 1 around 3am in the vicinity of 28 Avenue and 202nd Street.

Burglaries are on the rise in Queens and police are advising all to stay alert and pray while calling 911 and yell.
