Flushing woman arrested for contraband possession while visiting jail

Police arrested Melanie A Ramos, 36 of Flushing and charged with introducing Prison Contraband and Violating the State Sanitary Code. It happened on December 31 around 5:30am at the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, upstate NY. She was released in her own recognizance pending court date.
