Flushing man busted after calling cops of intruder alert

Police were called to a home on Mulberry Avenue next to Kissena Blvd near IS 237 after a tenant called of gun shots. It happened on Sunday around 4:30am. When police arrived, neighbors reported no gunshots were fired. After checking around, police located Alan Hoo, 46 of Florida while living in the basement stated he dialed 911. Further investigation reported Hoo was drunk and drugged when he called 911 and police discovered illegal guns, knives and other weapons inside. By Sunday midnight, police took all the items from the basement after placing Hoo in cuffs. Hoo is charged with weapon possession and other charges.
