Floral Park school under investigation

This afternoon, the local school in Floral Park located on 256 and 257 Streets between 81st and 82nd Avenue was shut down after a student was caught with a firearm.

The school went on lockdown temporarily.

ESU recovered the firearm.

Police have one under for questioning.

Additional details were not provided.

The investigation continues.
