Floral Park police using an unmaked vehicle followed Kirlew with siren and advised him to pull over

Kirlew refused and led police on chase. At South Third Street on Jericho Turnpike, Kirlew crashed his vehicle toward a parked car and tree. From there, he escaped on foot and police including Nassau County followed all around until he was caught at the backyard of a home on Fourth Street.
