First homicide in NYC started in Richmond Hill Around 3 30am at 104 35 124th

Two brothers of Guyanese origin were leaving a night club when they were approached by two armed suspects demanding valuable items. The brothers, 31 and 24 refused and a fight ensured with struggles. Both were shot and the robbers took off with nothing in their getaway car. The 31 year old died at Jamaica Hospital and his brother is in stable condition. Police have made no arrests and the investigating is ongoing. Update - police identified the 31 year old as Rocky Kalisaran who was visiting Richmond Hill for his grandmother's funeral last week from Guyana.
