Fire update with one dead in Richmond Hill

The FDNY reported heavy fire in NYC including Queens for this week. This morning a dead body was found at a Richmond Hill fire around 6:45am on Lefferts Blvd near 95th Avenue.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Another fire in the Bronx resulted in three victims found dead at the scene. This was on Third Avenue near East 140th Street in Mott Haven.

14 victims were taken to hospitals from the fire around the boroughs so far including firefighters.

The fire marshal is working on all incidents of what caused the fire.
