Fire damaged two homes in Nassau County

Firefighters in Nassau County reported 2 alarm fires at two separate locations in Nassau County.

Around 6:30pm last night, a fire broke out at a home in Port Washington. This is on Charles Avenue near Harbor Road.

EMS reported no injuries to this incident.

Around 1am last night, fire broke out at a home in Freeport. This is also a 2nd alarm on Broadway near Rosedale Avenue. The fire started in the second floor of a mixed story unit or a commercial and apartment. EMS reported injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation at both locations in Nassau County.
