Fire closed a supermarket in Flushing

FDNY reported fire at 144-50 Northern Blvd. This is a commercial supermarket in Flushing near Parsons Blvd. The fire started around 6:30am and was brought under control by 7:30am. One firefighter was taken to hospital with injuries. Northern Blvd has one lane closed eastbound for emergency personnel investigation to the cause of fire. Ongoing investigation.
