Fire at a home in Roslyn Heights reported with injuries

The Nassau County firefighters reported a deck fire at a home in Roslyn Heights which extended all around. The incident was reported this morning around 9am on Pinetree Lane across Appletree Lane. EMS transported two firefighters to a local hospital with injuries. There were no injuries to people from the home. The fire was brought under control by 10am after reporting its second alarm with heavy damages.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
