Fire at a home in New Hyde Parks

Firefighters are reporting fire at a home in New Hyde Park. This is on 12th Street at 500.

EMS is checking for injuries.

The fire started around 10:30pm and was brought under control around 11pm.

Firefighters are working on the scene to determine what caused the fire.
