Fire at JFK with injuries

Around 7am this morning, Terminal 8 reported an escalator fire at the international airport, JFK. This is at gate 410.

EMS reported seven people were injured and were treated on the scene for minor injuries.

Flights are delayed for the moment.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
