Female shot in Jackson Heights

Police were called to 80th Street in Jackson Heights reporting a male was shot. This is by 40th Avenue. The incident was reported around 5:30am this morning. The suspect, male, Hispanic took off on foot toward Roosevelt Avenue subway route.

EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

Ongoing investigation.
