Police are at 109 Street by 94th Avenue reporting a female shot dead inside a home. This is in Ozone Park. It happened around 2:30pm. ESU is working on the scene. So far no arrests. Police stated the suspect, male, black took off in a Chevy Traverse toward southbound. Ongoing investigation. Delays on Rockaway Blvd by Cross Bay Blvd due to police activity. The city's medical examiner transported the body for autopsy. Homicide detectives are also working on the scene.
