Female robbed coming out of a temple in Richmond Hill

Police are investigating a robbery incident outside the Sikh temple in Richmond Hill.

On Tuesday afternoon, a woman was leaving the temple with her children when she was robbed of her jewelry with a suspect displaying a gun leaving her traumatized.

NYPD reported this is not the first attack in the vicinity of the temple. Over five incidents have been reported since April. So far the suspects who were apprehended for one of the incidents all released with court appearances.
