Feeding the homeless resulted with one stabbing in Elmhurst

Police reported a male who fed the homeless in Elmhurst park was stabbed. It happened last night around 10pm inside Hoffman Park. The male in his 30’s would come to the park and feed the homeless. Then all of a sudden, one homeless male was angry for being late and stabbed the good samaritan. The stabbing suspect then took off on foot. The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
