Federal judge rules pandemic restrictions are unconstitutional in PA

After Pennsylvania governor stepped up restrictions in July to reduce indoor dining facilities to 25 percent capacity, mandate remote working whenever possible, and limit gatherings to less than 25 people indoors and fewer than 250 people outdoors. Also, bars are allowed to open for tabletop dining but not for bar service.Today, federal judge rules the pandemic restrictions are unconstitutional. The restriction was enforced after science warned the governor of spike but none happened whatsoever.

The Republican lawmakers took the governor to the federal court. The governor has yet to respond whether to appeal or remove the restriction. The same mechanism can be applied to New York if constituents work with Republicans to take Cuomo to federal court for re-opening. It's been almost a month after NY reported the flatten the curve, yet Cuomo keep the state in the restrictive mode for unknown reasons. Many speculate the restriction is until November 3.
