Father used daughter for cookie scam in Long Island

The SCPD reported a father used his small daughter for scamming people in Suffolk County using Girl Scout cookie orders.

The child went door to door to collect money for cookies as part of the program. Then didn't deliver cookies to those who ordered.

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County advised all to call the police to file a report if they didn't get the cookies so they will have their orders fulfilled by the organization. The organization also advises that all boys and girls selling cookies are in uniform. The incidents were reported in Patchogue, Lake Ronkonkoma, Bohemia, Mastic and Shirley.

The police are searching for the culprit.
