Father and son duo busted for larcenies at Long Island Home Depots

The NCPD reports the arrest of two Queens suspects for multiple larcenies that occurred on various dates between May 2024 and August 2024 in Nassau County.

According to detectives, Defendant Daler Singh, 69, and Defendant Gurpreet Singh, 25, both of Richmond Hill, entered Home Depot located at 160 Sunrise Highway, Freeport on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 and removed various items passing all points of purchase without rendering payment. Both defendants were issued appearance tickets and a trespassing ban was put in effect, preventing them from returning to any location.

On Friday, June 14, 2024, the defendants failed to appear in First District Court and arrest warrants were issued. On Thursday, June 25, 2024, Defendant Gurpreet Singh entered Home Depot located at 172 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead violating the trespassing ban. On Wednesday, September 11, 2024 both defendants were located by detectives and arrested without incident.

Defendant Daler Singh is charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree. Defendant Gurpreet Singh is charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Burglary 3rd Degree. They were arraigned on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at First District Court, Hempstead.
