Fatality on the LIE eastbound

Police reported fatality after two drivers were involved in a fender bender on the Long Island Expressway eastbound. This is by Exit 60 in Ronkonkoma. It happened around 11:30pm on Tuesday. This is involving two vehicles and a FedEx truck. Reported two vehicles, a Honda and Nissan had fender bender during the exit turn. Both vehicles stopped on the expressway to check on the damages. When one driver was getting back in the vehicle was struck by a FedEx truck instantly causing death. The other driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The dead identified as 29-year-old Stephen Neville, of Lake Ronkonkoma. Ongoing investigation.
