Fatality in Wantagh

The NCPD reports the details of a fatal vehicular accident that occurred at 9:43am on Thursday April 22, 2021 in Wantagh. According to Detectives, a female pedestrian was struck by a garbage truck on Wantagh Avenue at Laurel Lane. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene. There is no criminality at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
