Fatal vehicular accident in Searingtown

The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Auto Accident that occurred on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 5:09 pm in Searingtown. According to detectives, officers responded to a serious auto accident involving two vehicles at Searingtown Road and Old Searingtown Road in Nassau County. As a result of the collision, a male victim, 20, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased by a staff physician. The male, 29, operating the second vehicle involved in the accident was also transported to an area hospital for non- life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing. The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time. (From NCPD)
